Alligator and crocodile Empty Alligator and crocodile

Mon May 20, 2024 1:49 pm
Alligators and Crocodiles are members of separate families known as the Alligatordae family and the Crocodiles are known as the Crocodylidae family. Both are predators and known as reptiles.

Alligator is often seen as a guardian spirit, its also considered as the protector of secrets, so if you see alligator visiting in a dream state it shows you that you hold a power or a gift that you have yet to embrace such as inner workings with your shadow self, if its stealthily approaching in your awakened state of the mind's awareness aka a dream state, it means that the opportunity is silently approaching on your horizons.

The alligator totem reminds people that encounter it, that opportunities are manifesting all around us. We as the human race are creatures of habit, but it also can present a opportunity of good luck and the much needed changes and willingness, dedication in order to take place along our paths.

Crocodile

"Never smile at a crocodile, no you won't get angry with a crocodile, don't be taken in by his welcome grin!"

Ever heard this song lyric in regards to the crocodile totem?

Crocodiles do have some similarities to alligators in the sense that they are guardians of nature's knowledge. Crocodile shows us that the grass is not so greener on the other side and that we are not so easily fooled by its welcome grin. It does indeed bring a life lesson of patience and empathy, understanding in with it in the longer scale of things.
